Infuse Gets a Big Dose of AirPlay

We all go through life with good days, and bad days...then there are days that are just frickin' amazing! Today is one of those days because we just gave Infuse for iOS a huge, free 1.3 update.

What's new you ask? Well, let me tell you...

AirPlay

Infuse has always been great at playing videos on an iPhone or iPad, and now it's great at playing videos on the big screen as well. Yup! Infuse now features a truly awesome AirPlay option that streams a ton of different video types including MKV, MP4, M4V, AVI, and a few others. The more eclectic formats are supported as well by way of AirPlay Mirroring.

In a nutshell, just hit the AirPlay button and Infuse will take care of the rest.

Wi-Fi uploads

Searching for a sync cable to get videos into Infuse is a now a thing of the past. We've added direct Wi-Fi transfers that allows for dragging and dropping videos into Infuse through a plain ol' web browser. Geek note: You can also use an FTP app (like Cyberduck or Transmit) instead of a browser.

Keep it social

We've baked in some extra trakt goodness that makes it easy to post ratings and 'shouts' to trakt right from within Infuse. You can even post what you're watching to Facebook or Twitter, if you prefer. Don't worry, if you're not the social type, all sharing features are 100% optional.

Many other improvements and fixes

On top of all this, we've also included a huge pile of performance improvements and bug fixes to keep things running smoothly.

And just in case you're not already downloading it, Infuse 1.3 is now available as a free update in the App Store.

We'll be back with more goodies soon.

Enjoy! :-)
